ChessBase 13 is arriving the middle of November.
New in ChessBase 13:
The ChessBase Cloud makes it possible with a simple login to make use of your databases from any computer and later also from any mobile device (via the browser, iOS or Android apps). Set up your own repertoire and your own games in private space in our cloud. The cloud is particularly attractive for the preparation of training material or for preparing for your next competition or match. Even if your team-mates do not own a Windows-PC, you can provide them with their opponents’ games and with suggested lines of play. You just need a ChessBase account.
Optimise the performance of your engines with analysis tasks. First of all define which positions are to be analysed one after the other. The engine will, over time, assemble this independently and store in-depth analyses for you. For example, have your engines check an opening idea for you overnight and work things out in greater detail.
The improved repertoire function distinguishes between the repertoire for White and Black.
Ergonomic operation: Easier analysis and annotation by a new series of buttons below the notation. Direct embedding of players’ photos and flags at the top of the notation. More efficient input of variations during analysis, new variations accepted without a request for confirmation. Closing of board during live broadcasts with a single click, and much more.
System requirements: Minimum: Minimum: Pentium III 1 GHz, 1 GB RAM, Windows Vista, XP (Service Pack 3), DirectX9 graphics card with 256 MB RAM, DVD-ROM drive, Windows Media Player 9 and Internet access to activate the program, Playchess.com, Let’s Check, Engine Cloud and updates.

What format do my games have to be in ( PGN or cbf or cbh ) to upload them to the ChessBase cloud
Derek, saving them as PGN is the way. Here’s an article with some good info http://en.chessbase.com/post/cloud-database-saving-and-updating-your-games
Can anybody tell what Chessbase 13 updates are? Are they bug fixes that are critical or can they give more functionality to the program? I noticed that after I downloaded and installed all the updates the Nalimov tablebases that had worked well previously are not accessed by the engines now. I set and reset the tablebases paths correctly, but the issue persists.
You can find this information in the text file “changelog.txt” in the program directory. For example in \ChessBase\CBase13 folder
